My wife and I have travelled from Naples, Fl and are staying at an AIr BNB and directly across the street is this incredible Restaurant Sweet Spot Cafe. Let me start out by saying if you are wanting and absolute experience from beginning to finish then read no more just go. We were greeted by Sergio who was our server which he was great and will more on him little later in this review. Food was Spot on everything cooked to perfection. Calamari was our choice of Appetizer and was the perfect amount. I ordered the Rib Eye that was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Braised Short Rib which literally fell off the bones. We finished off with me having Espresso Macchiato and Lava Cake and my wife had the Creme Brulee which was delicious. Our server was Sergio and he was patient helpful and knowledgeable with explaining the menu and you could tell he genuinely cared that we had a great experience.... and we did thanks to him. This was our first dinner on our first day in NY and we decided we are going back on our last day here.

This place would get 10 stars if i could its just amazing. None of the food is dry and the appetizers are the beat i have ever had. Just one thing i dont recommend is the cutlets they are not flavorful but everything else is great i wish i lived closer so i could come here everyday.

It is a really nice Russian restaurant. We were there on Wednesday evening and it was pretty packed. They got a good variety of Russian and American dishes. I had cold green soup and fried soft shell crabs. The dessert was really good too.

Super delicious food from salads, to meat and fish. Lamb shank and duck are delicious. The "ponchiki" dessert prepared by owner's wife are to die for. The staff is not only super attentive and courteous but super funny as well. It's a hidden gem in an overcrowded Brooklyn scene.

Great Russian food. Service was awesome and fast. We ordered typical Russian dishes; salat olivier, salo, pelmeni, liver pate, etc. We had roasted salmon and shrimp pasta that were perfectly cooked for main dishes. They did not let us down. Highly recommended! OK crush! Reservation is definitely recommended since it is very popular.

We came in expecting desserts and sweets, but we were pleasantly surprised with the food!! Everything about the food was delicious, packed with flavor, and well thought out. With the entrees, the side of veggies and seasoned rice complimented the poultry. The interior is VERY rustic, boho, and slightly industrial. The restaurant is quite small, but they have tables reserved for bigger parties. Very family friendly restaurant. The staff was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and was very helpful, attentive, and down to earth. Not pictured: Steak salad & borscht. The steak salad is a great starter for a party of 3-4. The borscht is a MUST. Didn’t take any photos because we were too excited and devoured them quickly.

Must visit! Food is Amazing! Staff is attentive. Very cozy inside. I didn't want to go at first because photos from previous posts don't give it justice. So I'm showing photos of how the food actually looks - and tastes even better.
